Succesul noului coridor de export al Ucrainei de la Marea Neagră a dus la o majorare semnificativă a numărului de vagoane încărcate cu cereale care se îndreaptă spre porturile din regiunea Odesa, a anunţat luni Valeri Tkachov, adjunctul directorului departamentului comercial de la Căile Ferate Ucrainene, într-o postare pe Facebook, relatează Reuters.
Săptămâna trecută, numărul de vagoane încărcate cu cereale care se îndreaptă spre porturile din regiunea Odesa a crescut cu peste 50%, la 4.032, de la 2.676, a declarat Tkachov.
După ce Rusia s-a retras în iulie din înţelegerea care permitea exportul cerealelor ucrainene printr-un coridor maritim sigur, Ucraina a organizat un “coridor umanitar” pentru a ocoli blocada rusească de facto asupra porturilor sale din Marea Neagră. Guvernul de la Kiev a notificat atunci Organizaţia Maritimă Internaţională asupra stabilirii unei rute temporare de transport maritim, care trece şi prin apele teritoriale ale României.
Ulterior, un oficial din Ministerul Agriculturii din Ucraina a declarat că ruta va fi folosită şi pentru livrările de cereale spre ţări din Africa şi Asia.
Peste 700.000 tone metrice de cereale au părăsit porturile ucrainene prin noua rută, din august. Înainte de invazia rusească, Ucraina exporta lunar până la şase milioane tone de cereale prin porturile sale de la Marea Neagră.
Un oficial din Ministerul Agriculturii din Ucraina a declarat săptămâna trecută că livrările de cereale prin noul coridor ar putea depăşi în octombrie un milion de tone metrice. Totuşi, datele publicate luni de Ministerul Agriculturii de la Kiev arată că exporturile totale de cereale au scăzut cu aproximativ 50% în octombrie, din cauza problemelor logistice.
Oficialii ucraineni au anunţat că din august peste 50 de nave au intrat în coridor.
Guvernul de la Kiev se aşteaptă ca recolta de cereale şi seminţe oleaginoase să se situeze la 79 milioane tone în 2023, iar excedentul exportabil în 2023/2024 să fie de aproximativ 50 milioane tone.
