România (Magdalena Rusu, Roxana Anghel, Adriana Adam, Maria Tivodariu, Mădălina Bereş, Amalia Bereş, Ioana Vrînceanu, Simona Radiş, Victoria-Ştefania Petreanu) s-a impus cu timpul de 06 min 01 sec 55/100, fiind urmată la mare distanţă de Marea Britanie (06:08.01) şi Italia (06:13.07).
România încheiat Europenele de la Bled cu cinci medalii de aur şi una de argint.
Sâmbătă, echipajul feminin de patru rame, compus din Mădălina Bereş, Maria Tivodariu, Magdalena Rusu şi Amalia Bereş, a câştigat aurul, iar argintul a fost obţinut în proba masculină de 8+1 (Mihăiţă Ţigănescu, Ciprian Tudosă, Florin Arteni, Mugurel Vasile Semciuc, Marius Cozmiuc, Sergiu Bejan, Ştefan Berariu, Florin Lehaci, Adrian Munteanu). Duminică, Ionela Cozmiuc a câştigat aurul în proba de schif simplu categorie uşoară, Ioana Vrînceanu şi Roxana Anghel au devenit campioane europene la dublu rame feminin, Ancuţa Bodnar şi Simona Radiş au adus o nouă medalie de aur, la dublu vâsle feminin, România câştigând aurul şi la 8+1 feminin (Magdalena Rusu, Roxana Anghel, Adriana Adam, Maria Tivodariu, Mădălina Bereş, Amalia Bereş, Ioana Vrînceanu, Simona Radiş, Victoria-Ştefania Petreanu).
România, care a aliniat 11 echipaje la Europenele din Slovenia, s-a clasat pe locul secund în clasamentul pe medalii, după Marea Britanie (5-3-2). Olanda a ocupat locul al treilea (2-5-4).
România a încheiat Europenele din 2022 de la Munchen cu cinci medalii de aur şi trei de bronz, cel mai bun rezultat din istoria canotajului românesc la întrecerea continentală.
