ACTUALIZARE: Conducerea Raliului Iaşiului a decis oprirea tuturor probelor aflate în desfăşurare şi anularea etapei, după ce pilotul Adrian Răspopa şi-a pierdut viaţa în urma unui accident grav survenit la a doua probă specială, la Hadâmbu.
“Transportat cu elicopterul la Spitalul Sf Spiridon din Iaşi, pilotul Adrian Răspopa a fost operat, însă din cauza rănilor grave, nu a mai putut fi salvat. Conducerea competiţiei a decis oprirea tuturor probelor aflate în desfăşurare şi anularea etapei. Conducerea Federaţiei Române de Automobilism Sportiv, prezentă la faţa locului, este în aceste momente alături de cei apropiaţi lui Adi şi de sportivi în zona creată pentru Parcul Închis, unde se păstrează un moment de reculegere. La nivelul Consiliului Federal s-a creat o comisie pentru a analiza circumstanţele şi modul de intervenţie la locul accidentului. Odihneşte-te în pace, Adi!”, se afirmă într-un mesaj postat în pagina de Facebook a Federaţiei Române de Automobilism.

ACTUALIZEAZĂ: Pilotul Adrian Răspopa a murit în urma accidentului suferit în Raliul Iașiului. Adrian Răspopa a murit în sala de operație, cu toate eforturile făcute de medici.
“Întâi a fost resuscitat timp de două ore în UPU. S-a intervenit chirurgical şi s-a făcut tot ce e posibil şi omeneşte dar şi medical. A decedat în sala de operaţie”, a spus Diana Cimpoeşu, medicul-şef UPU SMURD Iaşi.
Inițial colegii din competiției anunțaseră că vor organiza un marș comemorativ, însă la scurt timp l-au anulat.

Pilotul Adrian Răspopa a fost încarcerat, iar copilotul Cosmin Diacu a ieşit singur din maşină. Cei doi au fost duşi cu un elicopter la Spitalul Sf Spiridon din Iaşi.
“Pe locul 2 la general după PS1 la Raliul Iaşului, echipajul Adrian Răspopa/Cosmin Diacu (Skoda Fabia R5) a avut o ieşire violentă în decor pe PS2 Hadâmbu. Echipajele SMURD au intervenit rapid pentru a-i prelua pe cei doi. Proba specială e întreruptă. Adrian Răspopa a avut nevoie de intervenţia medicilor, a fost stabilizat şi e transportat de urgenţă la spital. Cosmin Diacu este în afara oricărui pericol, dar are nevoie de investigaţii suplimentare. Un elicopter îi preia pe cei doi membri ai echipajului pentru a-i transporta la Spitalul Judeţean de Urgenţă Iaşi. Proba specială cu numărul 2 se neutralizează”, au anunţat organizatorii, pe pagina de socializare a evenimentului.
Coordonatorul UPU-SMURD Iaşi, Diana Cimpoeşu, a declarat că pilotul Adrian Răspopa a suferit multiple leziuni grave la nivelul bazinului, abdomenului şi cranio-cerebral. El a intrat în comă.
“Este într-o stare critică, în şoc hipovolemic, comă post resuscitare, este intubat, ventilat mecanic. Se fac investigaţii şi se iau decizii în ceea ce priveşte necesitatea resuscitării în continuare şi a intrării în sala de operaţie. Sunt leziuni severe la nivelul bazinului, abdomenului şi cranio-cerebral. Echipa din spital, ATI şi Urgenţe şi clinici chirurgicale, fac toate eforturile pentru menţinerea în viaţă”, a explicat prof. univ. dr Diana Cimpoeşu, coordonatorul UPU-SMURD Iaşi, citată de Agerpres.
