Meciurile din ultima etapă a campionatului portughez de fotbal, din data de 19 mai, vor avea loc în cele din urmă fără spectatori, a anunţat luni Liga portugheză, considerând ”imposibilă” organizarea acestora în condiţii sanitare sigure într-un termen aşa de scurt, în contextul pandemiei de Covid-19, scrie AFP.

Liga portugheză de fotbal anunţa săptămâna trecută că a 34-a şi ultima etapă a campionatului va avea loc cu public pe stadioane, într-o limită stabilită la 10% din capacitatea stadioanelor.
”Din cauza lipsei instrucţiunilor autorităţilor sanitare este imposibil să pregătim această revenire în siguranţă într-un timp atât de scurt. Pe de altă parte, accesul pe stadioane ar trebui rezervat exclusiv suporterilor cluburilor care joacă acasă, cu un test negativ. Este un criteriu care constituie o încălcare a fair-play-ului sportiv şi a corectitudinii între concurenţi”, a explicat Liga portugheză.
Săptămâna trecută, UEFA a anunţat că finala Ligii Campionilor, dintre echipele engleze Chelsea Londra şi Manchester City, programată pe 29 mai, se va disputa în Portugalia, la Porto, şi nu la Istanbul, aşa cum era programat iniţial, din cauza situaţiei sanitare din Turcia.
Aşa cum se ştie, Sporting Lisabona este deja campioană a Portugaliei. Guvernul Portugaliei a solicitat săptămâna trecută deschiderea unei anchete după ce mii de fani ai echipei Sporting Lisabona s-au adunat marţi seara, în pofida restricţiilor anti-Covid, în principala piaţă a oraşului, pentru a sărbători câştigarea titlului în Primeira Liga, primul în ultimii 19 de ani.

Sporting Lisabona, care cucerise ultimul său titlu în 2002, când era antrenată de Ladislau Boloni, nu a pierdut nicio partidă de la debutul actualei ediţii a campionatului lusitan şi are ocazia să devină prima echipă fără nicio înfrângere din istoria Ligii NOS, dacă îşi va păstra invincibilitatea până la finalul sezonului.
Sporting Lisabona, clubul la care s-a lansat Cristiano Ronaldo, cvintuplul câştigător al Balonului de Aur, s-a aflat în fotoliul de lider al clasamentului începând din luna noiembrie. Graţie acestui succes, Sporting pune capăt hegemoniei rivalelor sale Benfica Lisabona şi FC Porto, care şi-au împărţit titlurile naţionale în fiecare an, începând din 2003. Acesta este al doilea trofeu al “leilor” în acest sezon, după Cupa Ligii portugheze, câştigată la sfârşitul unii ianuarie în faţa formaţiei Sporting Braga (1-0).
Pe 23 mai, Benfica Lisabona şi Braga vor disputa finala Cupei Portugaliei, la care nu va fi permisă prezenţa spectatorilor.
