Un grup de lucru, care a inclus-o pe Amanda Staveley, unul dintre conducătorii lui Newcastle, a elaborat noi reglementări privind tranzacţiile cu terţi, care au fost avizate marţi de cluburile din prima ligă engleză de fotbal, relatează agenţia britanică Press Association (PA).
Conform acestor noi reguli, acordurile de sponsorizare ale entităţilor apropiate proprietarilor vor fi permise, cu condiţia ca acestea să reflecte valoarea reală de piaţă.
Remuneraţiile jucătorilor sau ale membrilor personalului pot fi acoperite şi de aceste entităţi, dar aceste trebuie declarate.
“Acest moratoriu (la contactele de sponsorizare) a fost cu adevărat dificil pentru noi. Nu ne aşteptam să se întâmple aşa ceva. Cum ne-am putea imagina că toate contractele noastre comerciale vor fi anulate?”, s-a plâns Staveley luna trecută, pe canalul de televiziune al clubului.
Potrivit PA, Premier League se va pronunţa cu privire la evaluarea contractelor după ce a ascultat argumentele cluburilor în cauză, ţinând cont de opinia unui expert independent şi comparând termenii cu o bază de date de contracte similare semnate înainte de a-şi da avizul.
