Cele mai recente date disponibile pe Eurostat arată că în a doua jumătate a anului trecut companiile din România plăteau pe energie, fără taxe, mai mult decât consumatorii industriali din Ungaria, Franţa sau statele nordice cum ar fi Danemarca, Suedia şi Norvegia, scrie Ziarul Financiar.
Şi în cazul consumatorilor casnici lucrurile stau la fel, românii având facturi mai mari decât vecinii lor din Ungaria sau Bulgaria, dar şi peste cele plătite de polonezi sau norvegieni.
Principala explicaţie pentru această situaţie este lipsa cronică a investiţiilor în unităţi noi de producţie, în ciuda proiectelor regenerabile care au fost puse în funcţiune în perioada 2009-2014 în baza unei generoase scheme de sprijin.
Dincolo de sistemul învechit de producţie, cel de transport şi distribuţie reprezintă un alt factor de cost. Aceste vulnerabilităţi au fost menţionate şi în Planul Naţional de Redresare şi Rezilienţă trimis către Bruxelles pe 31 mai şi făcut public pe 2 iunie.
„Precaritatea infrastructurii de transport de energie electrică este menţionată şi în rapoartele de ţară din 2019 şi 2020. Lipsa de investiţii adecvate în ceea ce priveşte infrastructura de transport de energie electrică se remarcă, de altfel, şi în ceea ce priveşte lipsa liniilor de interconexiune de energie electrică. După cum se notează în raportul privind Semestrul European din 2020, gradul de conectare al României se menţine sub media Uniunii Europene şi România nu a înregistrat progrese în ceea ce priveşte dezvoltarea de noi linii de interconexiune de energie electrică. În 2017, nivelul de interconectivitate a reţelelor de energie electrică a fost de 7%, sub obiectivul de 10% prevăzut pentru 2020“, se arată în PNRR României.
Totodată, conform unei analize a adecvanţei sistemului energetic naţional, s-a constatat un deficit important de putere instalată pentru satisfacerea indicatorilor de adecvanţă impuşi de ENTSO-E (Reţeua Europeană a Operatorilor de Sistem).
