Poliţia italiană a dejucat atacurile unor grupuri de hackeri pro-ruşi în timpul semifinalelor şi finalei de sâmbătă a Eurovision Song Contest de la Torino, au declarat duminică autorităţile, informează news.ro.

Ucrainenii de la Kalush Orchestra au câştigat concursul cu melodia “Stefania”, după un vot masiv din partea publicului, revendicând o victorie emoţionantă care a fost salutată de preşedintele ţării Volodimir Zelenski.

În timpul votării şi al show-urilor, departamentul de securitate cibernetică a poliţiei a blocat mai multe atacuri cibernetice asupra infrastructurii de reţea din partea grupului de hackeri Killnet şi a afiliatului său Legion, a spus poliţia.

De asemenea, poliţia a strâns informaţii de pe canalele Telegram ale grupului pro-rus pentru a preveni alte evenimente critice şi a identificat locaţia geografică a atacurilor.

Pe 11 mai, Killnet a revendicat un atac asupra site-urilor mai multor instituţii italiene, inclusiv al Senatului, camera superioară a parlamentului italian şi Institutul Naţional de Sănătate (ISS), a informat agenţia de presă ANSA.

De când Rusia a invadat Ucraina pe 24 februarie, multe guverne occidentale au ridicat nivelurile de alertă în aşteptarea unor posibile atacuri cibernetice asupra sistemelor şi infrastructurii IT.
