Cele două românce, care au o finală WTA jucată împreună la dublu, în 2020, la Praga, vor juca în optimi împotriva câştigătoarelor din meciul care le va opune duminică pe australiencele Ellen Perez/Samantha Stosur şi pe letonele Jelena Ostapenko/Anastasija Sevastova.
Tot sâmbătă, în primul tur la simplu, Mihaela Buzărnescu o va înfrunta pe americanca Alison Riske.
