Opt agenţi de la Secţia 16 Poliţie din Capitală au fost reţinuţi de procurorii Parchetului de pe lângă Tribunalul Bucureşti pentru săvârşirea infracţiunilor de lipsire de libertate în mod ilegal şi tortură, fiind acuzaţi că au bătut în luna septembrie anul trecut doi tineri în zona Eroii Revoluţiei.
Potrivit unui comunicat al Parchetului Capitalei, un alt poliţist este cercetat în libertate sub control judiciar pentru complicitate la tortură.
În septembrie 2020, doi tineri au reclamat faptul că au fost bătuţi de poliţişti în zona Eroii Revoluţiei din Capitală, după ce le-au atras atenţia agenţilor că nu poartă mască de protecţie şi dau amenzi fără temei. Unul dintre tineri a reclamat faptul că poliţiştii i-au pus cătuşe la mâini şi l-au lovit cu bastoanele, cu pumnii şi picioarele, după care l-au băgat într-o dubă a poliţiei şi l-au dus pe un câmp în apropiere de Jilava, unde ar fi fost torturat.
Procurorii susţin că, pe 1 septembrie 2020, în jurul orelor 01,45, agenţii de la Secţia 16 au organizat un filtru în zona străzii Calea Şerban Vodă din Bucureşti, context în care au fost abordaţi de persoanele vătămate G.M.I. şi G.T.N., care le-au adresat reproşuri cu privire la nepurtarea măştilor de protecţie.
“În aceste împrejurări, în scopul pedepsirii persoanei vătămate G.M.I. pentru reproşurile adresate, 7 dintre inculpaţi având asupra lor armamentul din dotare au lipsit-o în mod ilegal de libertate, încătuşând-o şi transportând-o împotriva voinţei sale pe un teren viran situat la periferia municipiului Bucureşti, Sectorul 4, unde 5 dintre aceştia au exercitat pentru aproximativ 30 de minute violenţe fizice asupra victimei, aplicându-i lovituri repetate cu corpuri contondente în zona superioară a corpului, a capului, a membrelor superioare şi inferioare, dar şi în zona degetelor mâinilor şi tălpilor. Totodată, unul dintre inculpaţi a supus persoana vătămată unor tratamente degradante. În tot acest timp, ceilalţi doi agenţi de poliţie au asistat în mod pasiv la violenţele exercitate asupra persoanei vătămate. După exercitarea actelor de violenţă, victima a fost abandonată pe respectivul teren viran”, spun procurorii.
În acelaşi timp, alţi doi agenţi l-au încătuşat pe celălalt tânăr şi l-au încuiat într-o autospecială de poliţie, peste două jante auto depozitate pe bancheta din spate, şi l-au transportat apoi în zona Zeţari din Bucureşti, Sectorul 5, unde l-au abandonat pe o stradă întunecată.
