Până în prezent doar Grecia a făcut o cerere pentru mai mulți bani FOTO Europarl.europa.eu
Vicepreşedintele Comisiei Europene Valdis Dombrovskis a confirmat în plenul Parlamentului Europeană că 77 miliarde de euro, bani europeni nefolosiți de statele membre prin Mecanismul de Redresare și Reziliență stau la dispoziția celorlalte membre pentru a-i accesa.
Acești bani pot fi folosiți pentru a extinde investițiile din PNRR, condiția de bază fiind o serie de reforme suplimentare. Până la această oră, din cei 77 de miliarde de euro. Grecia a făcut o cerere pentru 5 miliarde, în timp ce țara noastră nu s-a interesat.
Europarlamentarul REPER Dragoș Pîslaru, negociator al Mecanismului de Redresare şi Rezilienţă, este cel care a negociat și a obținut clauza prin care banii nefolosiți pot fi accesați de alte state din UE pentru a-și extinde planurile de investiții din PNRR.
Acesta susține că România are „șansa istorică” de a „crea un mini PNRR” și a solicitat Executivului de la București să meargă cu un plan la Bruxelles și să ceară „cel puțin” 10 miliarde de euro.
„Solicit de urgență Guvernului României să extindă PNRR-ul și să ceară cel puțin 10 mld euro de la Comisia Europeană pentru a investi masiv în industria din România. Grecia a cerut deja 5 mld din acești bani noi europeni. În această săptămână mă voi întâlni cu reprezentanții coaliției de guvernare pentru a le solicita cu celeritate să nu rateze această ocazie și să îmi ofer 100% sprijinul în acest demers, atât eu, cât și Partidul REPER”, a explicat europarlamentarul.
Întrebat în plenul Parlamentului European dacă România poate primi bani peste plafonul de 6,8% (din venitul național brut), vicepreşedintele Comisiei Europene Valdis Dombrovskis a răspuns afirmativ, adăugând că este vorba despre „circumstanțe excepționale”.
„Însă, în mod evident, statele membre vor trebui să justifice acele circumstanțe excepționale atunci când fac aceste cereri și să prezinte noi reforme și investiții”, a adăugat Dombrovskis.
