Preşedintele ucrainean Volodimir Zelenski a declarat, într-un interviu duminică pentru un post american, că ‘nu este pregătit’ pentru discuţii cu Rusia, cât timp aceasta nu îşi retrage trupele din Ucraina, informează Agerpres.
Statele Unite ‘ştiu că nu sunt pregătit să vorbesc cu teroriştii, pentru că cuvântul lor nu valorează nimic’, a spus Zelenski duminică la postul NBC.
El a comentat informaţiile potrivit cărora responsabili americani şi europeni au discutat cu guvernul său despre negocieri pentru a se pune capăt războiului cu Rusia.
Declaraţiile sale survin şi după ce un comandant ucrainean de rang înalt a afirmat în această săptămână că cele două armate sunt prinse în capcana unui război de uzură şi de poziţii.
‘Deocamdată, nu am nicio relaţie cu Rusia, şi ei cunosc poziţia mea’, a afirmat preşedintele ucrainean, adăugând că ‘ei trebuie să plece de pe teritoriul nostru şi doar după aceea lumea va putea pune în mişcare diplomaţia’.
Potrivit lui Zelenski, conflictul este într-o ‘situaţie dificilă’, dar nu într-un impas.
‘Pe linia de front, nu este un secret, nu avem apărare aeriană. Din acest motiv Rusia controlează cerul. Dacă ei controlează tot cerul, noi nu putem să avansăm rapid până când vom avea o apărare aeriană’, a mai spus el.
